Twende Pamoja is a Kenya-based non-profit organisation dedicated to uplifting girls and women in Ndhiwa, Homabay County, Western Kenya. Originally registered as the Ndhiwa Community Empowerment and Development Project (NCEDP) on May 23, 2013, the organisation rebranded to Twende Pamoja—meaning “Let’s go together”—in 2019.

Our UK based CIO partner Team Kenya is a highly ambitious charity with growing UK operations. They fundraise and seek grants to help fund our projects in Ndhiwa as well as educate about the importance of achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

By 2030, we aim to grow into a stronger, independent Kenyan NGO capable of sustaining our activities with reduced financial support from our UK-based partner organisation, Team Kenya.

Our SGS programme is dedicated to empowering the most vulnerable girls in Ndhiwa through health, life skills, and well-being education. We strive to ensure their safety, boost their confidence, and support their academic and personal growth, paving the way for a brighter and more equal future.

Promoting Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development (PESD)

The PESD Programme is all about helping our community thrive. We’re dedicated to supporting women and youth in Ndhiwa by offering hands-on training in agribusiness, entrepreneurship, and caring for the environment. Our goal is to empower individuals to become economically independent and sustainable, so they can make a lasting, positive impact on our community.
