Literacy is a bridge from misery to hope. It is a tool for daily life in modern society. It is a bulwark against poverty, and a building block of development…. Literacy is a platform for democratization, and a vehicle for the promotion of cultural and national identity. We work with 16 primary school in Ndhiwa Sub County. In each school there is a “library” and library teacher in charge to make sure pupils get the required educative materials to borrow or use and leave. We provide materials to these “School Libraries” so enough materials are available for pupils. We train teachers on various techniques which they use to improve pupil’s literacy skills Today being International Literacy Day we are celebrating the 𝑇𝑃 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑓𝑓,𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑠,𝑝𝑢𝑝𝑖𝑙𝑠 and 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑒ℎ𝑜𝑙𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠 who have stood firm to make sure everything is implemented as expected….Kudos Team! This is one of the best ways to enlarge the world of our pupils, let them love books. 𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺𝘀 once said, “𝑀𝑦 𝑏𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑣𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑎𝑡 𝑚𝑦 𝑝𝑒𝑛.” #changestartsinyourthoughts
