“Twende Pamoja” means “Let’s Go Together”… and in 2024, that collaborative spirit transformed thousands of lives. From rural communities to urban youth initiatives, this organization has shown that lasting change is born from dignity, education, and shared hope.

Girls’ Empowerment & Education
  • Mentorship, leadership, and well-being programs across 16 partner schools

  • 600+ girls mentored one-on-one; 560 attended leadership training

  • Forums empowered girls to articulate their rights and leadership roles

  • Extracurriculars (music, sports) gained national recognition

  • 20 girls received counseling; 374 received emergency assistance

  • Gender-sensitive training for 16 Girls’ Advocates

STEAM & Digital Skills

In 2024, 480 students joined STEAM Clubs across partner schools, engaging in collaborative sessions that built confidence in science and technology. Over 300 learners accessed the Discovery Room, using tools like VR headsets for the first time. To strengthen digital literacy, 16 ICT teachers received training in safety and classroom technology use.

Mixed Gender Empowerment & Literacy

Twende Pamoja engaged 480 boys and girls in school-based book clubs to promote reading and discussion. More than 2,000 community members visited the library, benefiting from improved access to learning materials. The organization also distributed 337 new books, installed 8 book corners in schools, and equipped them with 80 STEAM learning tools.

Community Engagement & Protection
Sustainable Development & Entrepreneurship

Environmental Action:

  • 24 cookstoves distributed

  • Environmental clubs in schools and 10 school farms upgraded

Karibuni Social Enterprise:

  • Honey harvest increased from 8L to 23L

  • 27 youth and 240 women joined new training groups

  • Over 80,000 people trained in improved agriculture practices

School Farms:

  • All partner schools now operate school farms independently
